Accessibility at Dela

We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the Dela Cycle website and the Dela apps for iOS and Android. This is our current engineering and testing goal. It is not a claim that every page, screen, feature, or user journey already conforms.

What this statement covers

This statement covers the public website at delacycle.com and the current Dela Cycle mobile apps for iOS and Android. Accessibility can vary by device, operating-system version, browser, app version, settings, and assistive technology.

Our current accessibility work

Accessibility is included in Dela's design, implementation, and release work. Features already built and covered by current development checks include:

On the website: a skip-to-content link, semantic page landmarks and headings, keyboard-operable native controls, visible focus treatment, responsive layouts, descriptive image text where needed, and support for reduced-motion preferences.
In the mobile apps: larger-text support, accessibility labels and roles for many controls, focus handling, reduced-motion behavior, and responsive layouts. Selected body and reading-content surfaces are covered by development checks at up to 200% text scaling; selected dense calendar and compact-control text uses a lower documented ceiling to preserve legibility and operability.
In automated testing: regression coverage for large-text layouts and selected accessibility semantics, focus, and responsive behavior.

These measures are useful foundations, but automated checks and implementation features do not establish full conformance on their own.

Assessment status and remaining work

Dela has not yet completed an independent, full-scope WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance audit of the website and both mobile apps. We are continuing manual, assistive-technology, and real-device validation, including:

common tasks with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android;
Voice Control, Switch Control, and hardware-keyboard navigation where supported;
color contrast, non-color cues, focus order, control names, and status announcements across states;
large text, display zoom, orientation changes, and a representative range of device sizes; and
the complete journeys for account access, daily logging, calendar use, settings, data export, and account deletion.

During this work, some custom controls or dense layouts may still have a touch-target, focus, or screen-reader experience that needs improvement. We are reviewing and remediating findings as they are confirmed. We will update this statement when the assessment scope or material known limitations change.

Tell us about an accessibility barrier

If you cannot use part of the website or app, email hello@delacycle.com with the subject “Accessibility feedback.” We review accessibility messages and aim to acknowledge them promptly, then provide a substantive response or progress update as soon as reasonably possible.

If comfortable, tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, your device and software version, and any assistive technology you use. Please do not email health details, passwords, sign-in codes, or access tokens.

We will work with you to provide the information or support through a reasonable accessible alternative while we investigate the barrier.

Standard we use

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We use that standard to guide work on both the website and mobile experiences, alongside the accessibility guidance provided by Apple and Android.
