Your Privacy Choices
Controls available in Dela and ways to contact us
Dela does not sell personal or consumer health data, use it for advertising, or use tracking across apps. These choices control optional product processing and sharing that you request.
Optional analytics and crash reports
Optional product analytics and crash reporting are off until you choose to enable them. In the app, open Settings → Privacy & account to change either choice. Product analytics sends only a few coarse milestones, such as onboarding started or completed. It sends no app mode, name of an onboarding step, health connection action, health entry, note, name, email address or Dela account identifier.
Optional prediction improvement
Prediction improvement is a separate choice that is off by default in Settings → Privacy & account. If enabled, Dela may securely compare experimental prediction methods using eligible structured cycle, fertility, pregnancy, contraception, and selected health entries already synced to provide the service. The candidate service receives no Dela account identifier or text from your notes, and its result never replaces the prediction you see. Turning the choice off stops future experimental calls and use in model evaluation.
Personalized recommendations
You can turn personalized recommendations off in Settings → Privacy & account. Core tracking remains available, although some suggested content may become less tailored.
Partner sharing and community
Partner access begins only after you create an invite and another person accepts it. You can choose categories, pause access, or revoke the connection in Partner settings. Community submissions are reviewed before publication; approved posts are visible to other community users. You can delete your posts and use report or block controls on other content.
Access, export, correction, and deletion
Use Settings → Privacy & account to export your data or delete your account. You can correct most entries directly in the app. If you cannot access the account, email privacy@delacycle.com; identity verification is required.
Consumer health data rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, withdraw consent, delete, or appeal a decision involving consumer health data. The categories, sources, purposes, processors, and request process are in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
No universal opt out is needed for sales or targeted advertising
Dela does not sell personal information or use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Because these practices do not occur, there is no signal for opting out of sales or targeted advertising to apply. We will update this page before those practices ever change.
